Mary Lanette's Story
Well, I'm still married to the same guy I married in my senior year of high school. We spent 20 plus years with Ernie in the military. We lived in Germany; Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; South Carolina; Georgia; Ohio; North Carolina; Kentucky and Virginia. While my husband made sure our soldiers food choices were safe, I was raising our three sons. (For most of his career he was a food inspector.)

ars, we decided to start a Traveling Civil War Museum. We started with an officer's tent, expanded to a 30x40 foot tent and eventually converted a car trailer.
Four year ago we bought a building in Maysville Kentucky, put the museum in one of the rooms and ran a cafe. Now, we are rearranging things again and trying something else. Life is never dull.
I have eight grandchildren ages three to fifteen. Girls outnumber the boys. That's an experience since I raised all boys!
